Promenade of the Sad Ones
Granada is a very photogenic city and I’d dare say a fair few from my recent trip will make their way here.
This used to be part of the funeral route leading to the cemetry. Nowadays, it’s touted as one of the most scenic routes in the world, etc. It’s a pleasant enough walk, but nothing close to what the tourist board would have you believed.
I like this for the depth, for the light and shadows, for the little stream… The tonalities and the composition convey to me a sense of the sadness that I seeked.
