Plaza España, Seville, elevated view

Another shot of Plaza España, from higher up. I like this shot for the light – the clear bright early evening sky cast a bluish shadow over the centre of the square, accentuating the bluesy feeling of the semi-deserted place.

If I didn’t see the whole picture, I would think that the center was lightly dusted with snow. It must be really something to see in person. I imagine I could sit there all day and just people watch.

    • Thanks for coming & commenting. It does, doesn’t it? It’s weird, really. It’s just this huge, huge complex, and devoid of people…almost. Some parts are being renovated, but could have been stopped because of the crisis. Mind you, I was there on a bank holiday, so that could explain the quietness. The light was quite astounding; of course, one has to be there at the right time. It’s a beautiful charismatic city, one with a soul 🙂
